Common questions

What happens if my package is lost?

You get a full refund on the price of the package itself.

What happens if my package is damaged?

You get a full refund on the service.

What happens if my package isn't delivered on time?

You get a full refund on the service.

How does DukeDrop Express work?

You ship your package to DukeDrop's address, using your own name as the recipient so it can be matched to your order. Once it arrives, DukeDrop delivers it straight to your dorm and room, with no wait through Duke's 48-hour mailroom processing.

How is Express different from Pickup?

Express skips Duke's mailroom entirely: you ship to DukeDrop instead. Pickup is for packages already sitting in your Duke mailroom box or locker; DukeDrop retrieves them and brings them to you.

How does Pickup work, and why do you need my box number or locker code?

For mailroom-box pickups, Duke requires written authorization before a third party can retrieve your package. You'll text a short consent line along with your box number and mailroom building. A locker code acts as authorization for locker pickups.

Do I need to provide a tracking number?

Yes, a tracking or order number is required for Express, Pickup, and Big Drop so your order can be matched correctly. Returns do not require one.

How does the Returns service work?

Leave the package at your door with the return label attached. DukeDrop picks it up and takes it to the package center.

How much does DukeDrop cost?

The order desk always shows your current per-item rate and total before you pay. Pricing drops when you send more packages in one order.

How do I pay and get in touch?

Pay by Venmo or Zelle through the order desk. Card payments are coming soon. For questions or pickup consent, DM @dukedrop_ on Instagram.
